Zack White Leather

Classes and Events:
On Sat. June 20th at Zack White’s Leather in Ramseur,
Hides to Art
taught a knife sheath class. We made a hand stitched custom
knife sheath for a 16 inch Bowie knife. In class we learned
how to create a pattern from the knife, layout the front design (basket
stamp), finish the leather, assemble the sheath, saddle stitch, and to
slick/burnish the edges. Students finished their sheath in class and
got to keep the knife and pattern.
